We are seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to take on the role of Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of mechanical components, creating bills of material, managing documentation as per ISO 9004:2015, and maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Development: Prepare assembly and part drawings + 3D models for new product development.
  • Bills of Material Management: Create bills of material (BOMs) and maintain ISO documents.
  • Design Modification: Modify existing designs based on manufacturing and sourcing team requirements.
  • New Product Development: Prepare design and drawing of new product development/reverse engineering activities of submersible pump sets.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost comparisons of products with other brands and perform MOC analysis.
  • Design Standards Implementation: Develop and implement design standards and procedures.
  • Tech Reporting: Prepare and present technical reports and presentations.
  • ISO Design Documents: Manage and work on all ISO 9001:2015 related design documents.
  • Training and Development: Train production/assembly/quality assurance personnel on approved manufacturing, test, and inspection procedures.
  • Process Resolution: Resolve process and product-related issues to support the manufacturing and sourcing team in completing dispatch orders.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Action customer complaints to resolve within a selected time frame.
  • Internal Correspondence: Prepare internal and external written correspondence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Knowledge: Good problem-solving skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Auto Cad 2D & Solid works/Siemens NX (Unigraphics).
  • Office Tools: Good knowledge on MS Office.
Minimum Qualification:

Diploma, CIPET or BE Mechanical Engineering required.
