The Mastercard Commercial Card Platform enables issuers and end corporate clients to manage their commercial card programs efficiently. It is the single-entry point to features and functions such as virtual payments, data integrations, account management, transaction reconciliation, and reporting.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with expertise in Data Science and Business Intelligence (BI) to lead our future-oriented product strategy. This role involves crafting and executing a BI and data science roadmap that delivers market-differentiating analytics solutions to our B2B clients.

Responsibilities

  • Define and Drive Product Vision: Develop and own a strategic roadmap for data science and BI offerings, aligning it with broader business goals.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on the latest BI and data science trends, tools, and methodologies, identifying opportunities and innovative use cases.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, data science, and design teams to ensure product delivery meets customer needs.
  • Data Science Strategy: Collaborate with data science teams on advanced analytics solutions, including trend analysis, predictive models, and user-defined events.
  • BI Expertise: Guide the development of BI tools, including self-service and collaborative reporting, trend dashboards, and industry-standard metrics.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines for continuous improvement and support product quality through automation, health checks, and monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Educated Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a focus on BI and data science, preferably in B2B, fintech, or SaaS industries.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in data science and BI platforms, with familiarity with SQL, Python, and data engineering workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and build upon statistical analyses, data modeling, and analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
