Senior Data Engineer PositionExusia seeks a seasoned professional to join our global delivery team's Global Intelligence Practice as a Senior Data Engineer.Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and design large-scale data engineering solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data processing and governance solutions using Ab Initio, Azure/GCP/AWS data engineering services, and other tools.
  • Work with delivery leadership to deliver projects on time, adhering to quality standards.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or Business Information Technology, or an Engineering degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Management, Data Engineering, and Data Governance, with hands-on project experience using Ab Initio, Spark, Scala, Pyspark, Databricks, and SAS.
  • Strong foundational skills in Data Warehousing/Data Engineering, with exposure to different types of data architecture.
  • Experience working with multiple databases, including Oracle/SQL Server/Netezza, and cloud-hosted DWH like Snowflake/Redshift/Synapse and Big Query.
  • Azure certification relevant for Data Engineering/Analytics.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with tools like Talend, Informatica, SAS for data processing.
  • Prior experience in converting Talend/Informatica/Mainframe-based data pipelines to Ab Initio.
  • Data validation and testing using SQL or any tool-based testing methods.
  • Reporting/Visualization tool experience - PowerBI.
