Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at CA Monk. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our hospitality business, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Monitor key financial metrics, analyze financial performance, identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement, manage cash flow, and optimize working capital.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, align with the hotel's strategic goals, prepare detailed budgets for various departments, conduct regular reviews of budgets and forecasts, and analyze variances between actual performance and budget.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements, provide insightful financial analysis and commentary on key performance indicators, and develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports.
  • Internal Controls: Design, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets and mitigate risks, conduct regular reviews of internal controls, identify and address control weaknesses promptly, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, coordinate with external tax consultants to optimize tax planning and minimize tax liabilities, prepare and file accurate tax returns and other statutory filings, and manage tax audits and resolve tax disputes.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems), advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Desired Skills: Experience in the hospitality industry, knowledge of revenue management and yield management principles, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and strong leadership and team management skills.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
