Lead Health Information Management Professional

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the field of Health Information Management (HIM). This leader will oversee the management of resources to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coding certification from AHIMA/AAPC, including CCS; CCS-P; CPC, CRC etc.
  • Hold a minimum 16 years of medical coding experience in a professional setting
  • Have experience working across multiple coding specialties and operations
  • Develop and implement effective people & process management strategies
  • Oversee Senior Group Leaders/Group Leaders/Assistant managers/Managers/AGM/DGM/AD/Director to manage the availability of professionals on a real-time basis
Requirements:
  • Should possess a minimum of 16 years' experience in coding
  • Should possess a minimum of 1.5 years' experience as Director
  • Certified from AAPC / AHIMA
  • Experience in coding strongly recommended
  • Excellent leadership skills required
