Job Overview

The Application Support Engineer is a pivotal role within our Corporate Security and Investigations team, responsible for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Access Control and CCTV systems software and backend hardware globally.

This engineer will be the primary point of contact for all Security Technology related issues or outages, providing timely and professional support to internal clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Technical Product Support: Provide configuration support for Access Control and CCTV systems, diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and offer remote support for system configuration.
  • Application Server Support: Install and configure security system applications on servers, provide 24x7 monitoring of application services, and escalate unresolved issues to internal teams.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Respond to emergency service calls, involve team members in establishing best practices, act independently when required, and report to senior management to ensure work satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems, with experience in installation and maintenance being a plus.
  • Experience in CCURE 9000 and CCURE GO software, as well as Windows Server Operating Systems (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, technical troubleshooting, and reverse engineering abilities.
  • Engineering Degree in Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent qualification.

Working Hours: The staff will work in shifts, including night shifts, with a standard working day of 9 hours and 5 days a week.
