Repello AI is a pioneering startup based in the United States and India, focused on AI Safety and Security through red-teaming of Large Language Models (LLMs) and General-AI applications like chatbots, copilots, and agents.

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join us as a Founding Engineer. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building our core security products from the ground up, working closely with the founding team to create robust, scalable solutions for AI security challenges.

This will be a fun experience with a steep learning curve working in the niche space of AI Security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop new tools from scratch, establishing our technical foundation
  • Work on existing products: optimize outcomes, add features, reduce latency
  • Design and implement efficient database solutions to handle large-scale data processing
  • Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) workflows and AI agents
  • Research and implement optimized AI security workflows
  • Manage deployment pipelines and infrastructure
  • Collaborate closely with the founders to shape product strategy and technical decisions
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of full-time software engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in building production-grade applications
  • Have built end-to-end applications previously
  • Experience with Postgres, React, Python, and data processing at scale
  • Good open-source work profile
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and LLM applications
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Interest in AI security and staying current with emerging threats and solutions
  • Can pull-off long hours on demand and prioritize speed and urgency of results delivery over everything

  • Experience with AI/ML security or general cybersecurity
