We are seeking an experienced video editing specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping our visual narrative and creating engaging video content that communicates our mission effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing long-form and short-form videos, with experience in films, short films, or documentaries. You will collaborate closely with the content and production team to bring stories to life through video.
- Edit engaging content across formats for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and more.
- Craft compelling narratives, ensuring every piece aligns with our brand and communicates our mission effectively.
- Maintain consistent visual identity and align with our evolving brand tone.
You will also be responsible for motion graphics and animation, graphic design, and visual assets, including:
- Design custom animations: intros/outros, lower-thirds, animated transitions, and dynamic overlays.
- Create on-brand static creatives for events, campaigns, paid ads, and social media.
- Develop responsive YouTube channel assets, banners, and layout elements for both desktop and mobile.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or similar.
- A strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and timing in video editing.
- Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and visual effects.
- Attention to detail and creativity in crafting visually appealing and engaging videos.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time.
We require 2-3 years of experience in video editing, particularly in short films, long-form content, or documentaries. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of edited video work, including both short and long formats, is essential. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adhering to tight deadlines is also necessary.
