Software Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled software automation specialist to contribute to the success of our organization.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript. They will also collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams for high-quality releases, including API automation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality releases, including API automation testing.
  • Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing through automation suites.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize test scripts for performance and reliability.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in code reviews and drive best practices in test automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in software test automation with strong expertise in Playwright.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience building scalable automation frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Git and version control practices.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with other automation frameworks.
  • Strong skills in REST API testing.
  • Knowledge of cloud testing environments and containerization.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
