Job Title: Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager

About the Role:

The GSOC Manager will oversee the research of cyber threats posed by criminal actors, analyzing their capabilities, intentions, and attack approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage SOC 24x7 operations, including technology and people management.
  • Perform cybersecurity threat detection, assessment, and mitigation efforts.
  • Support compliance teams with inquiries to ensure documentation is complete and in line with information security policies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and monitor continually threats that could affect operational and business activities.
  • Develop security operations playbooks to align with best practices and minimize gaps in detection and response.
  • Create, enhance, and manage security use cases, dashboards, and alerts using Splunk.
  • Research opportunities to adopt best practices and industry standards to enhance SIEM and SOAR platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Computer Sciences, or equivalent prior work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years overall experience working in global, complex organizations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of people management experience is preferred.
  • 8 years' experience in either Threat Detection & Response, Incident Response, Cybersecurity Operations, or Information Security.
  • Experience across technical concentrations: Network-Based Security Controls, Anomaly Detection, Host and Network Forensics, Operating Systems, Web Applications, and Traffic.
  • Proficiency in EnCase, FTK, SIFT, Splunk, Redline, Volatility, WireShark, TCPDump, and open-source forensic tools.
  • Experience responding to cyber events in public cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, including problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintain certifications in an information security-related field, such as CySA+, CISSP, ISSMP, or Splunk Certifications.
