Category Management Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Category Manager to drive business growth across seasons in our premium kidswear brand.

The Role Involves:
  • Profitability & Revenue Development
    • Owning profitability at the category level by planning pricing, discounts, and margins aligned with growth targets.
    • Identifying growth levers and monitoring revenue performance.
  • Inventory Planning & Control
    • Forecasting demand based on data, seasonality, and trends.
    • Ensuring healthy inventory levels to reduce stock-outs and dead stock.
    • Partnering with sourcing and production for timely replenishments.
  • Assortment Strategy & Sales Planning
    • Building collections that align with customer demand and brand identity.
    • Planning product mix across price points, characters, and collections.
    • Tracking SKU-level performance to boost conversions and sell-through.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Working with design on seasonal directions and briefs.
    • Collaborating with marketing and e-commerce for launches and visibility.
    • Sharing insights and reports with the team and leadership.
    Requirements:
    • 2–5 years of experience in Category Management, Buying, or Merchandising (fashion/D2C preferred).
    • Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
    • A sharp eye for product, pricing, and consumer trends in apparel.
    • Ability to manage fast-paced timelines and multiple stakeholders.
    • Marketplace experience (Amazon, Myntra, AJIO, etc.) is a big plus.
