Staff Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong working experience in DevOps, including hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra administration and architecture.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Write and review high-quality code
  • Analyze client needs in the context of the project
  • Determine design methodologies and tool sets
  • Lead/support UAT and production rollouts
  • Create, understand, and validate WBS and estimated effort for given module/task
  • Address issues promptly and respond positively to setbacks and challenges

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with expertise in DevOps, including experience with Apache Cassandra 4.1 administration and architecture. A proven track record of troubleshooting complex systems and infrastructure is essential, as is proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, Java). Experience with AWS, including provisioning, operating, and managing services, is also crucial. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation, as well as have hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
