Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced developer to join our team as a Backend Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and loosely coupled services to extend our platform.

  • Developing work schedules for the team and determining project requirements.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of 2-5 engineers, delegating tasks, and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Building bulletproof API integrations with third-party APIs for various use cases.
  • Evolve our Infrastructure and add a few more nines to our overall availability.
  • Have full autonomy and own your code, deciding on the technologies and tools to deliver and operate large-scale applications on AWS.
  • Giving back to the open-source community through contributions on code and blog posts.
  • This is a startup so everything can change as we experiment with more product improvements.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Development Experience
  • Prior experience developing and working on consumer-facing web/app products
  • Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems
  • Hands-on experience in JavaScript / Python / Node.Js
  • Good knowledge of async programming using Callbacks, Promises, and Async/Await
  • Experience in at least one of the following frameworks - Flask, Sanic, Fastapi
  • Deep knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL
  • Basic knowledge of event-based systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Experience with deploying and scaling Microservices
  • Worked with AWS services in the past and have experience with EC2, ELB, AutoScaling, CloudFront, S3
  • Deep Knowledge of Cloud-Native Application Architecture: Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices
