AI-Driven Data Engineer

Job Description:

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support our AI-powered platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, machine learning, and software development. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines to transform raw events into actionable insights.
  • Develop and train machine learning models using Python and popular libraries such as scikit-learn and LightGBM.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate model outputs into production workflows.
  • Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and compliance across all systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data engineering and machine learning.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in data engineering or applied ML.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and one or more ML libraries.
  • Experience with data pipelines, event-driven systems, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Understanding of ML lifecycle: training, serving, monitoring, retraining.
  • Ability to design time-based labels and extract relevant features from complex datasets.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with MLOps tools and DevOps practices.
  • Prior work with customer engagement or CRM businesses.
  • Knowledge of bandit algorithms or uplift modeling.
