Internal Audit Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Internal Audit Manager to join our global internal audit team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement all audit programs in line with the audit plan, ensuring compliance with established auditing industry practices and contributing to improvements and revisions as required.
  • Execute all audits/reviews in compliance with Standard Audit Programs, testing templates, and auditable activities.
  • Support coordination and engagement with clients/business units on meetings and fieldwork, achieving alignment on audit observations and finalizing action plans.
  • Ensure documentation of all forms of audit work papers, adhering to established procedures and Audit Quality Assurance standards.
  • Provide consultative support to business units on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework implementation and Control Self-Assessments, reviewing programs for adequacy of coverage and providing recommendations as necessary.
  • Support business teams in enhancing control awareness through Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)/Business Process Controls training programs, providing feedback on observations.
  • Assist in implementing established Ethics and Compliance programs to identify and report unusual events/business irregularities and control violations, participating in Forensic Audits/Fraud Investigations as needed, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Offer independent guidance to business units regarding compliance requirements and best practices in Internal Controls, ERM, and Audit areas.
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Health & Safety expectations, Standards of Business Conduct, Ethics and Compliance programs, and other directives issued by the organization from time to time.
Scope and Performance Metrics:

The scope of measurement includes timely completion of audit topics per plan, client feedback/survey results, quality and magnitude of risks identified, and improvements recommended. Required qualifications include a Qualified Chartered Accountant (and/or) Cost & Management Accountant with relevant internal audit experience (and/or) Certified Internal Auditor. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of internal audit experience and possess exposure to manufacturing/process industries, good understanding of Accounting Standards (Ind AS, US GAAP, IFRS), and hands-on experience with SAP and MS Office packages.
