Job Opportunity: Senior Team Lead

Leadership Opportunity in Control Systems

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead a dynamic team of engineers in designing and implementing advanced control systems.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of 15+ Controls Engineers, ensuring skill and competency development.
  • Managing team escalations, daily resource allocation, hiring, and subcontracting activities.
  • Identifying training needs and implementing structured training programs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams as a consultant.
  • Monitoring project risks and opportunities, driving improvements across teams.
  • Ensuring system performance validation through thorough testing.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving control system issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to department KPIs.
  • Providing technical oversight during commissioning and ensuring smooth customer handovers.
  • Willngness to travel internationally for project execution and team management.

Key Competencies include:

  • Strong leadership with proven experience managing 15+ engineers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in high-demand project environments.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities with a focus on delivery within time and budget.
  • Proactive, innovative, and improvement-driven mindset.

Technical Expertise includes:

  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens mandatory) and control system design.
  • Hands-on experience in the design and execution of integrated control systems.
  • Ability to align control designs with project goals.
  • Skilled in preparing and executing detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Experience in driving standardization and process improvement across multiple projects.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
  • 10–12 years of experience in PLC programming (Siemens required).
  • Prior experience in airport baggage handling systems or parcel handling solutions preferred.
