Job Overview

You will join our Software Core Services group, responsible for roadmap, architecture, design, and management of the entire Mixed Reality ecosystem core libraries and tools.

Your key objectives are to deliver Infrastructure & Platform solutions for Tesseract's internal applications, supporting all 'verticals' at Tesseract with broadly applicable 'horizontal' solutions and shared infrastructures, aligning with Tesseract's Technology Roadmap.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Developed and deployed a consumer operating system based on Android Open-Source Project (AOSP).
  • Utilized Agile as the core philosophy for software delivery using JIRA, Git, and Jenkins/Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of the Android Framework Layer.
  • Proactively communicated and collaborated with architects and engineers to analyze business needs and functional requirements.

Requirements

  • Expert-level proficiency in technology and architecture, hands-on coding skills, and the ability to translate low-level business requirements into technology execution.
  • AOSP relevant experience: HAL, HIDL, AIDL (Binder), camera development, display pipeline, graphics OpenGLES, audio module.
  • Programming languages: C / C++ / Java (Any), with preference for C++11, C++13, C++15, C++19, or Java 8 or Java 15.
  • Experience with Android camera development and display pipeline, graphics OpenGLES, audio module.
