Design Drafting Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Design Drafting Engineer to play a crucial role in translating concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and expand your skills in a dynamic work environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Initial design of structural elements, including footings, columns, retaining walls, slabs, beams, and various water tanks.
  • Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Review initial design & drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure initial design & drawings meet project requirements and deadlines.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD drafting software.
  • Good knowledge of software like Etabs, SAFE & RCDC.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
