Job Description:

The Senior Mechanical Product Development Specialist will be responsible for leading project sourcing and management efforts while identifying, evaluating, and establishing partnerships with manufacturers across various countries.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential vendors and manufacturers of mechanical and instrumentation products in targeted countries.
  • Assess vendor capabilities, including technical expertise, manufacturing processes, quality standards, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and internal teams, to facilitate effective collaboration and communication.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Cordinate with cross-functional teams to evaluate vendor performance, address any issues or concerns, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement is a plus.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, supplier relations, or procurement, with a focus on mechanical and instrumentation products, preferably on an international scale.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate vendors and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience dealing with manufacturers for end clients like Aramco, ADNOC, KOC, Qatar Energy, Shell is advantageous.
