English as an Additional Language Teacher

This is a full-time role located in Pune for an EAL Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons aimed at students learning English as an additional language.

The daily tasks include creating educational content, teaching, assessing student progress, and providing training and support to help students develop language skills. The teacher will also be engaged in fostering a conducive learning environment and supporting the pastoral development and wellbeing of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of EAL students.
  • Teach students with varying levels of English proficiency, adapting instruction to meet individual needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to inform instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive language program.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to improve their language skills.

  • Experience in Training and professional development
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a school community
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and experience required
  • Experience in an international school environment is beneficial
