Job Title:
Production Manager EV BUS Manufacturing

About the Role:
This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the entire production process of bus body structures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive manufacturing, particularly in bus and coach body building, BIW, assembly, and EV. They should possess strong leadership and team management skills, problem-solving abilities, and cost control expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage end-to-end production processes to ensure timely delivery, high-quality standards, and cost efficiency.
2. Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to optimize manpower, machinery, and materials utilization.
3. Monitor KPIs such as JPH (Jobs Per Hour), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and downtime to drive operational excellence.
4. Ensure adherence to dimensional accuracy, fit & finish, and welding standards through quality assurance and collaboration with QA teams.
5. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and lead Kaizen, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
6. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning among production supervisors and line staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 15-20 years of experience in automotive production, specifically in bus and coach body building, BIW, assembly, and EV.
* Strong understanding of bus body structure design and manufacturing.
* Leadership and team management, problem-solving and decision-making, cost control and budgeting, ERP/MRP systems proficiency, safety and compliance awareness, performance metrics.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
