We are seeking a Data Engineering professional to lead our data engineering efforts. This role will play a crucial part in designing and developing scalable data processing systems that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement large-scale data processing systems using Python, SQL, and distributed data processing technologies such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
  • Develop production-ready ETL pipelines that can handle massive datasets efficiently.
  • Maintain and improve existing data engineering systems, ensuring high performance and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data engineering requirements and implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Python programming, including popular libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of data lake and data lake house patterns, ETL performance tuning, and cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Azure Databricks and DevOps concepts, including ETL pipeline orchestration tools like GitHub actions, Terraform, and Databricks workflows.
  • Certifications in Databricks, Azure, AWS, or GCP are highly preferred.
