Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced project manager to oversee the delivery of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with senior engineers and other stakeholders.

  • The key responsibilities of this role include preparing feasibility study reports, reviewing them with senior engineers, and working closely with the design team to assemble specifications compliant with employer requirements.
  • Another crucial aspect of this position is defining building requirements and purposes of use with the design team and ensuring that designs are carried out to WSP and B Regulations standards.

This role also involves coordinating project contracts documents, managing daily queries from the design team, and providing relevant information on time for construction activities.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design process, encouraging cost-effective solutions within agreed programmes, and reporting any variances between constructed works and design intent.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in construction management, significant experience in similar roles, or a good track record. They must be fully conversant with structural software, possess excellent communication skills, and fluently speak English with a deep understanding of technical terminology.

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, British Chartered Engineer status, or equivalent, is highly desirable. The applicant should demonstrate good management, communication, and technical skills, as well as be capable of working independently.
