As a Senior Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of medical coding deliverables and providing subject matter expertise to support analysts. You will also be expected to maintain good harmony with operations and training verticals, creating presentations, developing process manuals, and training materials.
About the Role
This is a full-time position based in [location]. The salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams and monitor progress, tracking KPIs and QC resource management
- Ensure quality team deliverables meet or exceed expectations
- Provide subject matter expertise to support analysts
- Maintain good harmony with operations and training verticals
- Create presentations, develop process manuals, and training materials
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, physiotherapy, homeopathic medicine, or science
- Certified CPC, CCS, or CIC certification
- Minimum 10 years' experience in medical coding, including 5 years' experience in IP DRG coding or auditing and managerial experience
- Excellent knowledge of ICD-10 CM & PCS coding guidelines
- Ability to identify and interpret strategic and quality improvement needs
- Ability to identify, implement, and evaluate QC sampling techniques
- Ability to perform error analysis and identifying improvement areas
