About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect to join our Search, Shopping & Pricing (SSP) product engineering group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality solutions for the E2E flow (from search to after sales).

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team to ensure they perform at a high level.
  • Solution Analysis: Analyze complex problems with broad impact on the activity, improve processes, recommend solutions, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Communication: Communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders.
  • Autonomy: Work with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions.
  • Enterprise Solutions: Act as an SSP functional architect ambassador internally and externally, involved in enterprise-level solution design.
Key Accountabilities
  • Contribute to one of the most strategic TRD programs by designing best-in-class travel platform solutions.
  • Analyze customer needs and requirements, implementing/adopting NDC.
  • Propose functional/technical solution recommendations with supporting rationale for complex cross-organization, cross-functional solutions.
  • Identify areas of repeat/common use and optimize the work of the department by building coherent, re-usable solution responses.
  • Provide information status to stakeholders on a regular and relevant basis at any stage of the engagement.
  • Support and expertise to Product, Sales, and Account teams in functional, technical recommendations.
  • Document and present solution recommendations to large audiences, including R&D top management, experts, architects, R&D delivery teams, customers, product managers, and account managers.
  • Hand-over solutions to delivery teams.
  • Support new business opportunity studies when it comes to complex solutions.
  • Suggest/propose ways to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work with SAFe organization as a shared service team member.
