About the Role:

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to deliver high-quality lessons in English to students.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, utilizing relevant materials, and catering to different learning styles.
  • The role also involves maintaining accurate records of curriculum, year plans, attendance, teaching resources, assessment plans, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the required curriculum with accurate knowledge of subject matter.
  • Plan and deliver quality lessons to motivate students and create a positive classroom environment.
  • Establish and maintain records of curriculum and year plans.
  • Implement destinations, milestones, related strategies, lesson plans, worksheets, class and home assignments.
  • Prepare instruments of assessment and implement weekly, unit, term, and annual plans for assessment and evaluation.
  • Give appropriate feedback to students, both qualitative and quantitative, as per School Policy.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
  • Participate in Appraisal and Professional development (PD).
  • Attend and lead co-curricular events, staff meetings, and extra-curricular programmes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject and B.Ed. qualification.
  • Knowledge of curriculum areas, research, and educational trends in Education.
  • Subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and teamwork ability.
