Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vendor Master Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vendor master data processing and be able to analyze and improve data quality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working as a regional point of contact for local business unit leaders and business partners for Vendor Master (VM) processing and queries
  • Completing requests for sensitive vendor master data in a timely, accurate manner by performing integrity checks to ensure a high quality of master data
  • Ensuring all requests contain the appropriate supporting documentation and comply with company requirements and policies
  • Analyzing and improving data quality, which includes running reports to enhance and cleanse vendor master data
  • Conducting root cause analysis of data quality issues and assisting in recommending new processes to prevent future data quality issues, including taking necessary corrective action
  • Providing functional support and training to various end-users as it relates to VM processing, including SOPs
  • Professionally communicating with suppliers both written and verbal
  • Analyzing, recommending, and improving processes, increasing efficiencies and strengthening internal controls
  • Providing local and regional support to end-users on Vendor Master policies
  • Assisting with ad-hoc reporting for leadership, effectively communicating with our business partners and participating in special or cross-functional projects
  • Meeting individual and department goals; Supporting Corporate Goals/Initiatives
  • Participating in user acceptance testing for system upgrades and changes
  • Assisting with providing requested information for internal and external auditors
