Job Title: Cloud Security Specialist

A leading organization is seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Professional to spearhead its cloud security strategy. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud security protocols to mitigate risks associated with hosting cloud-based applications and data.
  • Configure Public Cloud native security features, including GCP Organizational policies/constraints, VPC SC, IAM policies, and GCP APIs.
  • Develop expertise in Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) 3rd Party tools, such as Wiz, Prisma, Check Point CloudGuard, etc.
  • Implement Policy-as-code (Rego) and OPA platform.
  • Design and configure event-driven serverless-based security controls in GCP, including Azure Functions, Automation Runbooks, AWS Lambda, and Google Cloud Functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop DevOps processes and workflows.
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Work with logging and data pipeline concepts and architectures in the cloud.
  • Scripting languages like PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go.
  • Agile best practices and methodologies.
  • Creating technical architecture documentation.
  • Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Practical experience in designing and configuring CICD pipelines. Practical experience in GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • ITSM experience.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Risk control frameworks and engagements with risk and regulatory functions.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering.
  • In-depth understanding of DevOps processes and workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile best practices and methodologies.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, preferably Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Logging and data pipeline concepts and architectures in the cloud.
  • Scripting languages like PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go.
