Job Overview
  • We are seeking a technical professional with expertise in web application development, specifically Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS).
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and build custom web applications using VBS, leveraging JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for dynamic UIs.
  2. Extend Oracle Fusion Cloud UI via embedded VBS components, page composer, or application composer.
  3. Integrate with Oracle Fusion REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and external systems.
  4. Implement secure API calls, business logic, validations, and data formatting in VBS.
  5. Utilize Git/GitHub for source control and versioning, and set up deployment pipelines in Oracle Visual Builder Studio or external CI/CD tools.
  6. Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues across different environments.
  7. Prepare and maintain technical design documents, configuration guides, and user documentation.
  8. Enforce best practices in naming conventions, reusability, and secure coding standards.
  9. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers in VBS and modern web design practices.
  10. Support UAT, go-live, and post-production support efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
Required Skills
  • 10+ years of technical experience with Web application development, including 2 years of hands-on experience with VBS.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with Fusion REST APIs and secure integration, including OAuth2 and Basic Auth.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion SaaS modules, such as Financials and SCM.
  • Understanding of Fusion Cloud extensibility options and security model.
  • Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), FBDI, and service orchestration flows.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and ATP/ADW integration.
  • Experience using Oracle Fusion Sandboxes for UI customizations, layout changes, and SaaS object extensions via Page and Application Composer.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to create HLDs, TDDs, sandbox setup guides, and customization migration steps.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Oracle Redwood Developer Certification.
  • Experience in Agile or DevOps delivery environments.
  • Prior experience in Oracle ADF or OAF (Oracle Application Framework) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
