About the Role

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in developing scalable, distributed back-end services that power our core products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining microservices and back-end APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design modular, high-performance and fault-tolerant systems for scale.
  • Integrate and optimize MongoDB databases with efficient schema design and indexing.
  • Deploy, manage and monitor microservices on cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Ensure code quality through testing, best practices and peer reviews.
  • Implement security, authentication and authorization mechanisms across distributed services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in back-end development using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microservices Architecture and inter-service communication patterns (REST, gRPC, message queues).
  • Practical experience with MongoDB including schema design, aggregation and indexing.
  • Hands-on experience deploying services on cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with API design principles, CI/CD workflows and version control systems.
  • Understanding of containerization and cloud-native application patterns.

Good to Have:

  • Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ or other message brokers.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to serverless architectures and monitoring tools.
