
Claims Resolution Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Claims Expert to join our team.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and resolve claims related to demurrage and post-fixture issues.
- Collaborate with client teams, vessels, and agents to gather necessary information and facilitate claim resolution.
- Evaluate claims based on accurate interpretation of contract clauses and provide analytical insights to support timely submissions.
- Negotiate with counterparties to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties involved.
- Track outstanding claims and ensure follow-up as needed.
- Document Management:
- Collect and review port documents from clients, vessels, and agents, and procure any missing documents required for claim filing.
- Ensure that documents are properly sorted and stored according to requirements.
- Reporting and Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and timely records of data and provide regular updates as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree is required, and a background in sailing or maritime operations is preferred.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
- At least 3 years of experience in handling claims, preferably in the product tanker industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement and continuous learning.
