Network Test Engineer

About the Role:

  • Design, develop and document comprehensive test plans for all products.
  • Coordinate and participate in system level testing activities including estimation, strategy, test planning, execution and reporting.
  • Perform setup of test scenarios, both hardware and software components, and perform troubleshooting as needed.
  • Create testing tools and scripts as needed to support system level testing activities.
  • Provide training and support as required. Lead small to mid-size projects, mentor junior staff.
  • Understanding of lab infrastructure and maintenance.
  • Good interaction with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

Required Skills:

  • Network/telecom/satcom testing experience.
  • Automation with Python.
  • Test Equipment & Tools like Spirent, IXIA, Wireshark, ethereal, Noise emulator, iperf, pytest/robot framework.

Preferred Skills:

  • Telecom knowledge on NMS/EMS/OSS.
  • Understanding of OSI Model, L3/L4 layer, IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP.
