GIS Job Overview:

A forward-thinking organization is seeking an accomplished GIS Developer with 3–5 years of experience as a Geospatial specialist.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong grasp of ArcGIS, Python and JavaScript and deploy scalable solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

  • Develop, deploy and maintain connectors to integrate with customer interfaces
  • Analyze, review and modify programming systems including coding, testing, and debugging
  • Ensure seamless software integration into the customer's system
  • Coordinate software integration and maintain technical documentation
  • Expert knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • ArcGIS Desktop /Pro, Enterprise Geodatabase, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and understanding how to build high-performance UI applications capable of visualizing large amounts of data
  • Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS languages and frameworks)
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud is beneficial
  • Proven experience developing dynamic front-end web applications
  • Writing clean code with well-defined abstractions that reduce complexity
  • Passionate about implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Knowledge and Utilization of REST API and other web services for integration
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and strong SQL skills
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration
  • Experience in Azure Repo with knowledge of git and Azure Containers
