Furniture Production Designer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Detailed Drawings: Develop precise production drawings for furniture items based on initial designs and specifications, ensuring all necessary technical details, dimensions, and assembly instructions are included.
  • Cutting List Development: Generate comprehensive cutting lists that outline the materials needed for production, including dimensions and quantities, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure materials are available and suitable.
  • Optimization of Material Utilization: Utilize software tools to create optimized cutting plans that minimize waste and maximize material efficiency, and continuously analyze and improve cutting plans based on production feedback and material availability.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in CAD software and a keen eye for detail.
  • Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
