About the Role


The Aerodynamics Expert - Alstom will be responsible for developing and applying engineering instructions, guidelines, and established internal processes within the AeroX domain.


Key Responsibilities


Perform standard CFD simulations within project and offer development
Perform advanced CFD simulations requiring a multi-physics approach: thermal, fluid-structure interaction, aero-acoustics, etc.
Manage and mentor Aero-X engineers directly reporting to

Performance Measurement/KPI's


Quality of work, on-time delivery, and costs management, team management


Requirements


Mechanical or aeronautical engineering degree (Bsc/Msc) or equivalent
At least 8+ years of experience in projects managing Aero-X scope
Team management experience
Good knowledge of at least one leading CFD package (STAR-CCM+, CFX, FLUENT, PowerFLOW, etc...)
Good knowledge of general fluid mechanics, thermal management, and fluid structure interaction
Management skills to lead R&D actions with a transversal approach
Good communication skills, pro-activity, team working, strategic vision
English conversational/writing/reading advanced level mandatory
French conversational/reading advanced level is preferred
