Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections across various grades of castings, forgings, and fabricated components.

  • Cross-Functional Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of castings, forgings, and fabricated components to ensure compliance with international standards (DIN, EN, ISO, ASME).
  • Manufacturing Process Oversight: Supervise steel fabrication, pipe systems, and fittings to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
  • Inspection Planning: Prepare, review, and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Manufacturing Inspection Plans (MIPs) to ensure effective quality control.
  • Supplier Management: Review and manage supplier quality documents and inspection calls using digital tools to maintain high-quality supply chain partnerships.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify and document nonconformities, drive root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Third-Party Coordination: Plan and coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and suppliers to ensure seamless quality control processes.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in lean initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality, promoting a collaborative shop floor environment.
  • Audit and Compliance: Engage in supplier audits, performance monitoring, and new supplier development to maintain EHS compliance and foster a culture of excellence.

You Bring: To excel in this role, you will need 8+ years of relevant QA/QC experience in casting, forging, and fabrication inspections, as well as in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes for castings, forgings, and fittings. Certification in ASNT Level II for DP, UT, MPT, and RT is also required, along with familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and proficiency in engineering drawings, MS Office, and SAP (MM & QM). Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a solution-driven mindset and working knowledge of EHS practices in manufacturing.
