Job Description

A Senior Network Engineer is required to oversee the configuration, maintenance, and support of network devices.

Deploy SDWAN across territories, maintain configuration, troubleshoot of SDWAN.

  • Coordinate and execute upgrades, patches, and new installations in collaboration with IT infrastructure teams.
  • Perform technical upgrades for the stacks under support. Manage Technical Debt.

Maintain Technical documentation. Triage critical incidents, troubleshoot issues and resolve, maintain SLAs, Critical event support ensuring high uptime of Network & Security environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and support of Network & Security devices.

  • Deploy SDWAN across territories, maintain configuration, troubleshoot of SDWAN.
  • Manage Technical Debt by regularly upgrading components based on OEM recommendations.
  • Triage critical incidents, troubleshoot issues and resolve, maintain SLAs, Critical event support ensuring high uptime of Network & Security environment.
Qualifications

Experience: 8-10 Years in Retail Industry within IT Infrastructure Department-Network administration function. B.E/B.Tech Equivalent /Master/Master Equivalent qualification required. CCNA OR CCNP certification is Mandate.

Requirements
  • At least 8+ years of hands-on experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network devices such as Core & Spine switch, routers, VPN gateways, in Onprem and Cloud deployment such as – Azure, OCI and IBM.
  • Proficiency in managing network hardware such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers.
  • 5+ Years of hand on experience deploying, configuring and managing security devices such as firewalls in On-prem and cloud deployments such as Azure, OCI and IBM.
  • Familiarity with any one of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI, IBM).
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLANs).
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent are preferred.
