Equity Research Analyst Intern Position Overview

This internship provides hands-on experience in equity research and financial analysis, allowing candidates to develop valuable skills in fundamental analysis, financial modeling, and stock analysis.

The successful candidate will work closely with our analysts to support investment decisions by performing thorough research, analyzing stocks, and monitoring market trends.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to project company performance and valuations.
  • Assist in tracking portfolio performance, preparing updates, and providing insightful data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the team on ad-hoc research tasks and projects, applying knowledge of capital markets and investment concepts.
  • Utilize advanced Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting, as well as MS PowerPoint and Word for professional presentation creation.

Requirements:

  • Active pursuit of CFA Level I/II/III certification, accompanied by a recent degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow and comparables analysis.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial statements, analyze stocks, and draft compelling research reports.
  • Excellent documentation skills, with attention to detail and a solid grasp of MS Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of capital markets and investment principles, coupled with strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn about equity research.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities, ensuring seamless collaboration within the organization.
