Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Receive Bill of Materials from the Design Department and solicit quotations from vendors.
• Develop cash flow plans to support projects, including regular updates and cost tracking.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing comparative quotations and submitting them to management for decision-making.

  • Release purchase/work orders to vendors with appropriate payment terms and delivery conditions.
  • Follow up with accounts teams for advance releases and running payments to vendors.
  • Ensure timely material delivery through regular vendor follow-ups.
  • Inspect materials upon readiness and coordinate with vendors and transporters for on-time delivery.
  • Monitor invoices and enter them into our system.
  • Provide weekly financial project progress reports to management.
  • Maintain a database of vendors and ensure all work, workers, and movement are insured.
  • Support the Tender/BD team in costing upcoming projects/tenders.
  • Work with project managers to minimize communication gaps between procurement and end-users.
  • Deal with vendors, architects, and contractors while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and provide key performance data.
  • Update daily worksheets for payments against orders placed and inventory management.
Requirements:

• Graduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 7-10 years of procurement experience.

  • Awareness of products, functions, application parts, and manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and raw materials.
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Analytics.
