Job Title: Guidewire Tester

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.
- Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.
- Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.
- Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.
- Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.
- Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.
- Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Support manual testing efforts when required, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity

Required Skills & Experience:

- 1–3 years of experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects.
- Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright, Taiko or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress/ Selenium.
- Experience in programming-based test automation toolset and should be part of test design for minimum of 2 Years.
- Hands on experience in working with Git Repository.
- Independently handle Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging.
- Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or equivalent.
- Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.
- Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge on CI / CD
- Knowledge of API & API testing tools like Karate, Postman or RestAssured.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

- Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing.
- Experience in improving test coverage and test strategy.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools & CI/CD tools should be good.
