Infrastructure Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our organization in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in Palo Alto and advanced network and cloud infrastructure skills.

Job Description Summary

  • Project Implementation & Management: Execute significant infrastructure projects with a strong focus on Palo Alto security solutions, Cisco ACI, and Cisco UCS.
  • Micro-segmentation Strategies: Design and implement robust micro-segmentation strategies leveraging technologies such as Cisco ACI or VMware NSX to enhance network security and reduce attack surfaces.
  • Cloud & Identity Services: Manage and optimize cloud-based networking solutions within Microsoft Azure. Oversee and configure federated identity services, including ADFS, SAML, and Azure Conditional Access policies.
  • Automation for Infrastructure Processes: Develop and implement automation for infrastructure processes using scripting languages and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like PowerShell, Python, Puppet/Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Security & Compliance Measures: Ensure adherence to ITSM processes to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure.
  • System Performance Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of all systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Network Security: In-depth hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, configuration, management, troubleshooting, policy creation, VPN, etc.
  • Cisco Networking: Strong proficiency with Cisco ACI, extensive experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst series switches, and experience with AVI Load Balancer.
  • Storage Solutions: Practical experience with Pure Storage solutions and familiarity with Cohesity data management solutions.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Azure networking and infrastructure services, expertise in Federated Identity management, and relevant industry certifications.
  • Scripting & Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python, and hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Domain Experience

Prior experience working in the Banking or Credit Union domains is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, implementing, and managing complex infrastructure projects. This includes project leadership, infrastructure design, implementation, and optimization. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of the infrastructure, as well as monitoring and maintaining system performance.
