Job Title: Web Application Firewall Professional

Role Overview:
  • A highly motivated and skilled Web Application Firewall (WAF) specialist is required to manage WAF solutions, ensure network security, and maintain service levels in a 24/7 environment.
Key Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing WAF solutions and ensuring the security of web applications.
  • Strong understanding of WAF management, commissioning, and implementation, as well as integration with various tools and systems.
  • Hands-on experience in automating processes using scripting and configuration tools.
  • Proficiency in managing policies and exceptions to prevent security breaches.
  • Excellent product knowledge of F5 WAF SSL, Routing Protocols, Dual Factor Authentication, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to monitor network performance and isolate issues before they impact services.
  • Effective incident, problem, and change management skills.
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex network issues, including those related to OSI Model layers 1-3.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues quickly.
  • Capacity to perform daily performance checks, conduct periodic audits, and maintain compliance.
  • Immediate action when resolving network outages and implementing network security policies.
  • Deploying and maintaining access and security policies for WAF solutions.
  • Overseeing day-to-day network security infrastructure administration, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Coordinating with OEMs for TAC support, RMA, replacement, and reconfiguration of WAF solutions.
  • Creating detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, inventory control records, and security documentation.
  • Collaboration with IT support teams and application teams to troubleshoot high-priority incidents.
  • Investigating, isolating, and resolving WAF-related incidents through root cause analysis.
  • Designing and implementing WAF solutions for data center, disaster recovery, cloud, and branch office environments.
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), run books, and updating knowledge bases in IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
  • Automation and integration of tools with REST APIs, SDKs, and security dashboards.
