Job Title: Category Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Category Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product planning and pricing strategies to maximize category profitability.

The ideal candidate will lead merchandising planning & forecasting, drive pricing, promotion & markdown strategies to maximize margins, manage product portfolio & new product development, oversee inventory norms, stock turns, and new store indenting, partner with sales & retail ops teams to improve channel & store productivity, and contribute to policy updates, training, and people development.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead merchandising planning & forecasting (demand, annual plans, gross contribution).
  • Drive pricing, promotion & markdown strategies to maximize margins.
  • Manage product portfolio & new product development.
  • Oversee inventory norms, stock turns, and new store indenting.
  • Partner with sales & retail ops teams to improve channel & store productivity.
  • Contribute to policy updates, training, and people development.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in Jewellery, Fashion, or Garments.
  • Strong category management & analytical ability.
  • Skills in customer orientation, detail orientation, and stakeholder collaboration.
