Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to manage a full caseload of employment-based immigration cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, effective time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.

About the Role

  • Draft, review, and edit complex NIV/IV cases, including NIWs, O-1s, E-2s, EB-1s, and PERM-based I-140s and I-485s.
  • Independently manage a large caseload, collaborating with inter-firm teams to ensure efficiency and quality of work.
  • Communicate effectively and timely with clients throughout the visa process.
  • Provide regular updates to legal teams and managers on case progression and status.
  • Liaise with government agencies, including USCIS, CBP, the US Department of State, and the US Department of Labor.
  • Support lawyers in gathering evidence, preparing supplementary documents, and ensuring adherence to procedural stipulations and submission deadlines.
  • Identify and rectify delays in the process, showcasing strategic acumen and initiative.
  • Prepare and coordinate document production and responses to RFEs.
  • Maintain accurate records and track cases consistently, adhering to firm policies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three (3) years of immigration experience, specifically with O-1s, NIWs, and EB-1As.
  • A Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate is highly desirable.
