Engineering Leadership Opportunity

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead our product development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and proven leadership skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Own delivery of product commitments for the team.
  • Contribute to product roadmap discussions and provide input on design, modeling, and architectural decisions.
  • Lead project estimations and operations for implementing high-quality solution delivery and technology upgrades.
  • Guide teams in developing new products, solutions, and processes.
  • Drive efficiency and productivity to produce high-quality output.
  • Design systems that improve flexibility, functionality, and usability.
  • Define NFRs and build a system that meets the requirements.
  • Perform code reviews.
  • Oversee project logistics and resource allocation.
  • Implement tools and techniques to enhance quality and reduce code debt.
  • Advise on design and implementation methodology.
  • Collaborate with other team leaders and departments.
  • Develop team competence and mentor team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
  • 7-15 years of experience in delivery, development, and team management.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with EVM, Android, and related technologies.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with frontend technologies like EMV knowledge, Android POS development experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in mobile technologies like Android.
  • Good understanding of commonly used databases like SQL and NoSQL.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Personnel and project management skills.
  • Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes.
  • Organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Past experience with Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools is a plus.
  • Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management and conflict resolution.

Communication & Ownership:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with dynamic requirements and able to pivot strategies as needed.
