Societe Generale Global Solution Centre is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Calypso expert to join our team as a Business Process Analyst. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to analyze and improve business processes, identify areas for optimization, and implement solutions using Calypso.

About the Role:

">

We are looking for someone with 4-7 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in Calypso Application. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Calypso Backoffice functions, settlement (SWIFTS), accounting, and customization around Calypso. Additionally, they should have knowledge of capital markets, including Fixed Income, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Listed and OTC Derivatives.

The successful candidate will be able to trouble-shoot and think outside the box to design solutions. They will also have ownership attitude, good influencing skills, and be highly motivated with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Analyze and improve business processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs">
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement solutions using Calypso">
  • Identify areas for optimization and develop recommendations for improvement">
  • Develop and maintain detailed user stories and functional specifications">
  • Presentation domain-related topics in relevant forums and discussions">
  • Contribute to product functional improvement with metrics on business usage">
  • Validate the effectiveness and coverage of test strategy">
  • Propose new ways of testing in line with evolving market standards/practices in QA area">
  • Research to determine if solutions currently exist within Calypso or required customization">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • 4-7 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in Calypso Application">
  • Strong understanding of Calypso Backoffice functions, settlement (SWIFTS), accounting, and customization around Calypso">
  • Knowledge of capital markets, including Fixed Income, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Listed and OTC Derivatives">
  • Trouble-shooting and out-of-the-box thinking skills">

  • Ability to write SQL for analysis and basic Unix commands understanding">

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per annum
