The Role

This is a full-time on-site opportunity for an Occupational Therapist located in Pune.

The Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy services to children with developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges. The OT will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to promote independence, improve functional skills, and enhance quality of life for children and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation
  • Conduct assessments of children's abilities using standardized tools and clinical observations.
  • Interpret results to identify areas of need and develop individualized plans.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation
  • Develop and implement individualized plans based on assessment findings and child/family goals.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities and sensory integration techniques.
  • Modify plans as needed based on child progress and changing needs.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Family Collaboration and Education
  • Work with parents/caregivers to develop home programs and provide education on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
  • Maintain open communication with families to ensure ongoing collaboration and support.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, plans, progress notes, and reports.
  • Prepare reports for professionals as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in India.
  • Experience working with children with developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges.
  • Knowledge of pediatric assessment tools and treatment techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
