Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Middleware Administrator to join our team in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining middleware infrastructure, with a focus on WebSphere Application Server, ensuring smooth operations, troubleshooting issues, and performing system administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, configure, and troubleshoot middleware technologies and application servers, particularly WebSphere Application Server.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of middleware services.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of middleware components and application servers.
  • Perform system administration tasks, including installations, configurations, patching, and upgrades of middleware components.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and backup procedures for middleware systems.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
Requirements
  • Strong expertise in middleware technologies and application servers.
  • Proficiency in administering WebSphere Application Server.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting middleware and system-related issues.
  • Solid understanding of system administration tasks such as patch management, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Knowledge of server load balancing, clustering, and high-availability setups.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning of middleware systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Middleware Administrator.
  • Relevant certifications in middleware technologies (e.g. IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic) are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise-level middleware solutions.
