Mainframe assurance involves a combination of manual and automated approaches to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of mainframe systems. As a Mainframe Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying defects and ensuring that software meets business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong experience in QA manual and automation testing
  • Prior experience on Mainframe testing including JCL, COBOL, SQL
  • Awareness of CI/CD and DevOps - Jenkins
  • Excellent knowledge in testing skills (provide estimations, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
  • Ability to communicate clearly with the global team/stakeholders on the status and progress of allocated activities
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Excellent stakeholder management

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work independently. Knowledge of JIRA and a good understanding of the Banking Industry is also desired.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical expertise in JCL, COBOL, SQL
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
