Job Title: Cost Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost management processes, including preparation of capital cost estimates, advice on building economics, tendering procedures, and contract arrangements.

  • Prepare pricing documents for tender packages;
  • Draft instructions to tenderers;
  • Develop tender evaluation criteria;
  • Commercially evaluate all tender submissions and negotiate with tenderers;
  • Ascertain amounts due to contractors for price variations;
  • Determine amounts of claims;
  • Prepare and feed in to monthly Cost Reports;
Key Requirements:
  • Chartered QS under a recognized organization (RICS, SCSI, AIQS, NZIQS);
  • Strong understanding of the QS & cost management processes;
  • IT literacy and proficiency with MS Office;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Strong problem solving skills with aptitude to work rapidly and accurately under pressure;
  • Able to co-ordinate with other staff and departments across Global offices located in US;
